Amanda Mertens

Hi, my name is Amanda and I live in Stanley. I am a mother of three beautiful children, a boy and two girls. My children’s ages range from 13 to 3 years old. I am also a full-time nurse; my passion is to help others and I truly love what I do. I currently work as a charge nurse in special procedures, and I float when needed to the emergency department. So, as you can see, life can be a little crazy. We love spending time as a family doing things like camping, fishing, four wheeling, hunting, hiking, and kayaking. We are a very outdoors family and we love to travel when able. Cooking, nutrition, and staying healthy is something that is important in our lives as well. We also spend a lot of our time running to sporting events for our children.

I grew up in Gilman, WI. Moved to Stanley 12 years ago. I have spent most of my life working with individuals from all different types and aspects of life. I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals and their families. I am a very dependable and dedicated, motivated and energetic individual. I am always up for trying new things, I love a good challenge. I have a gift of listening and creating a trusting relationship. I am excited to help others create a plan and succeed in their goal.

I have pushed through some hard times in life but am very proud of where I ended up.. The hard times in life can either make you or break you. I choose not to let them break me and set goals and make the sky the limit. Anything is possible when you set your mind to do it. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. The effort you put in is truly what it’s about. “If you want to work for it.” I aspire to help others believe that the past does not have to define the future that lies ahead and to always strive to be the very best version of yourself.
